CCA Ration Guide Rp_c1835

Survival Rations
Civil Protection have certain survival rations that may be taken into food-scarce environments. These survival rations are fortified foods in laminate vacuum pouches. The foods are pasteurized and considered very clean. The survival rations are made by the CWU, but taste is relatively decent. In the front, the packet has a one use, one-way plastic air restrictor to suck most of the air out from the ration packets and prevent dirty air or pathogens from going in. These foods also have all the nutrients, fat, protein, calories, carbohydrates, fiber, sodium, sugars, vitamins, amino acids, and other essentials that are beneficial to healthy diets. The Survival Ration contains 2000 calories worth of food, being able to feed a Civil Protection unit for a whole day. As long as the ration pouches aren't opened, the rations will be able to withstand an age and weather beating. The foods with the lowest expiration in the survival rations last 5 years under 30 degrees and about 3 years in temperatures up to 150. The foods with the highest expiration can last nearly 7 years under temperatures up to 150 degrees and 9 years in temperatures under 30.

Survival Rations have a limited menu. The survival ration packet consists of two entrees, four sides, multiple biscuits/wheat items, two spreads, two types of drink powders, a dessert, and two energy bars. It also has a flameless ration heater, activated by a chemical reactions with water. Survival Rations are only given at times when CPs must go and stay in areas that don't have typical mess halls.

Typical Dining Hall Rations
The typical dining hall meals that Civil Protection units get two times a day. These meals are developed by experienced chefs who worked in restaurants before the war, and mass produced by the Civil Worker's Union. However, tastes are below fine-dining classed expectation due to the high costs of mass producing fine dining class foods. They have decent taste. These rations are processed and non-processed foods that are served in higher quantities compared to their citizen ration counterparts. The rations also make good improvements each year, menus and ingredients change to suit tastes better. The OfC's and higher ranks have a larger amount of rations than units below and currently on 01. The 01 rank also has a little, but insignificant ration increase. These foods also have all the nutrients, fat, protein, calories, carbohydrates, fiber, sodium, sugars, vitamins, amino acids, and other essentials that are beneficial to healthy 2000 calorie diets. Unlike citizen meals, meals eaten by Civil Protection aren't made with artificial materials. Civil Protection units are not allowed to take their rations out of the nexus.

The citizen rations are more like humanitarian daily rations, cept significantly worse.

CCA eat food that's sort of like Piccadilly or something that you would get from a cafeteria. Cept better.
