Canon and Storyline Guide

To go over canon and dates, things like time frame and whatnot so that people might not be confused, I'm making this guide to help everyone understand what's actually happening.

Time: take the date and time we have now, and add 4 years. If today was June 20th, 2012, then it would be June 20th 2016. This is an alternate dimension type of timeline.

Time line.
November 2012 - Massive Portal Storms begins to appear, spreading Xen lifeforms across the globe.

December 2012- Combine Invasion. Ended in an abrupt 7 hours. All major powers and governments have surrendered, those left standing are soon blown off to extinction. 75 percent of the human population has been annihilated, birth controlling suppression field is established.

Three days after invasion - first transhuman beings begin to appear.

Beginning of January 2013 - Doctor Wallace Breen establishes his unelected administration. Universal Union established. UU Government is placed and established. Doctor Breen begins to chase his goal of making humanity become a worthy asset to the UU. Universal Union Network established. Civil Protection and OTA are established. All electric technology, firearms, and dangerous materials are quickly searched for and recycled by Civil Protection. All types of currency except the "token" is hereby ineffective. All other foreign and domestic economies have collapsed, new economy established. All companies and private businesses are taken down and are made to use by the Universal Union. All inhabitants of homes begin to be disposed of, and citizens are moved to apartments. Clothing is replaced with uniformed buttoned jackets and jeans. Many human rights and freedoms have been limited. All unsold foods, clothing, and other items have been recycled. Children under the age of 16 are isolated from the public to who knows where. All children over the age of seven are put to child labor, working a whopping six hours a day in producing combine goods and supplies. Breen informs they come back once they have reached the age of 16. English becomes the official language of the Universal Union. Education is established for those under the age of thirteen.

March 2013 - 95 percent of all military units have been converted to a transhuman beings or have died. Is effective due to Universal Union Processing Power. Anyone with any sort of public identification or paperwork is hereby recorded and backround checked. Anyone without identification is killed.

April 2013 - Many species of animals have been extinct. Combine begin to extract Earth's resources.

Also, It's canon that Children are put to work in factories for making clothing weapons .etc for the combine.

It is, but I don't want to start giving out so much information that citizens begin to "magically know" what's happening with their children. I'll add it anyway, it is a guide.

If that happens, (get it?) then I'll update the canon.

Anyways, I'm adding it, so no worries. Children are now child laborers.

Actually it was a HL2 level idea and it was implemented but was scrapped after the big hack.

Yes, it was in the beta. I'm not sure whether it was supposed to be in Episode 3, but it was definately in the beta. Actually, the kids made cremator heads in factories, you can actually see an easter egg at Black Mesa East. It's in a large, green jar.
